also undetectable is the mode switch selector for the joystick. buttons 20 - 39 are unassignable these buttons include - Hat 2 and hat 3, and the scroll wheel (whicn can also be pressed similair to a mouse wheel) buttons. KSP appears to only recognize 19 joystick buttons, with buttons 16 -18 being assigned to the mouse control buttons, and HAT 2 Up control being assign button 19.Ĥ. the mouse left button, mouse scroll wheel and mouse scroll wheel click (right button) are registering as joystick buttons, not mouse buttons/wheels.ģ. the Mouse control on the throttle is not recognized by KSPĢ. there were NO PROFILES from SQUAD for HOTAS joysticksicksġ. I managed to get into the steam controller profile page for the joystick in steam, but there were only profiles for XBONE controllers and steam controllers. Still not luck on finding the HOTAS profile the patch notes said was added. there are some issues that make this a partial fix. but it seems to keep the assignment i choose when i hit ok on the axis bind menu. for some reason KSP want to default all the assignments to JOY 0.2. KSP is then able to assign axis of the joystick. I end tasked the joystick profiler software before starting up KSP. Not sure why it partially fixes the problem, but it does. i don't think the steam big picture is the right choice. We will provide configurations for DualShock 4, Xbox One, a new configuration for the Steam Controller, and one for HOTAS-like joysticks.įor some reason, even though steam seems to detect my x-52 pro, it wont let me select it, and when i try and go to the selection menu for controllers in ksp (big picture mode) it says no controllers detected. The gap will not be completely closed for now, but it will be an improvement nonetheless. We are trying to close the gap between the mapping found in the consoles’ Cursor Mode and the one currently supported in the PC game. I think you might have setups under Steam Controller settings but I'd need to find the article to refresh my memory.Īdditionally, Steam users will be happy to hear that the team has been working on expanding and improving controller support for the game via the Steam Controller framework.
